Golden Prague

Czech capital – Prague is not a very big city, but it’s, without any doubt, one of the most beautiful European cities. In 1992 UNESCO included historical part of Prague in its World Cultural Heritage list. Here Czech, German and Jewish traditions are mixed to create a unique Prague image.
The history of Prague dates back to the X century. In the Middle Ages it was one of the centers of the Roman Empire and the third biggest city of Europe. Later it belonged to the Hasburg dynasty and Dual Monarchy of Austria and Hungary. Prague is the architect’s dream. The city encompasses architecture from many different styles and generations. From the old Baroque to the non-traditional design of the “Dancing House,” there is a type of architecture for everybody. Even those who are not particularly keen on architecture will find Prague ’s buildings, statues and bridges a sight they will never forget.

Prague is a collage of architectural style. From Gothic to Cubists and Baroque, the city encompasses all types of architectural design. The most notable Baroque style found in Prague is exhibited in the bell tower of The Loreto . The bell tower houses a carrilon of 30 bells produced in Amsterdam . Prague Nightlife

The nightlife of a city is where you will find a cities culture of today. It is where you let your hair down and forget about the Prague Castle . Have a drink and chat with the locals at a pub or visit a dance club and see what the nightlife is really like.

Having a night out in Prague is just as safe as any other big city in the U.S. There are always those suspicious people to look out for such as the pickpockets and cab drivers that try to scam you. It is also important to be aware of your drinks, as drink spiking occurs on a rare occasion. The term used to describe a nightclub in Prague is also different. “Nightclubs” in Prague are usually used to describe brothels.
